Description
This painting tells a story of time and the traces it leaves behind. It evokes a place that has slowly changed, where layers of earth, water and memory have merged, leaving fragments of what once existed. Organic forms emerge from the textured surface like remnants of a distant past, while muted blues, earthy ochres and warm rust suggest the gradual transformation of a landscape. There is a sense of both loss and renewal, as if the old is quietly giving way to something new. The painting invites the viewer to imagine what lies beneath the surface and what stories might remain hidden within its layers. It is a reflection on how places change, how memories fade, and how something of the past always remains, even when its original form is no longer recognisable. The painting is finished with a protective varnish. It will be carefully rolled for shipping, allowing for safe transport.
