An original is a unique (or uniquely editioned) work made by the artist. A print or reproduction can be beautiful — but it is not the same kind of object.

What “original” usually means here
On this marketplace, artists list works they created. Ask about medium, whether the piece is unique, and if any certificate is available.
Limited editions should state edition size. Open reproductions are not originals.
