Oil painting on a homemade canvas panel. A green pear and a sewing needle against a dark bluish background. I made the panel from new fine canvas and a 3mm thick, hard cardboard that was previously a practice painting. On the back, there is a hanging loop, but the painting benefits from being placed in a nice frame of your own taste. Hope, health, long life, justice, good judgment, and love for humanity are traditionally the symbols of the pear in art, and the sewing needle adds an extra dimension.
