Mini oil painting on a homemade canvas panel. A human-like figure and a plum against a dark gray-blue background. The motif plays with the traditional symbolic language of still life. You can read about the meaning of symbols in many encyclopedias, but a small list of my favorite symbols is available at: www.ilsehviid.com The panel is made of new fine canvas and a 3mm thick and hard cardboard, a piece from a previous practice painting. The edge is painted, but it will surely benefit from you finding a nice frame for it.
